The game and its reception


like I said. I was extremely surprised how well the last one got received.  This was the main reason why I did a second one. 


The second one now went almost as good as the first. My download statistics  are COMPLETELY dominated by this one and its precedessor.  This gets far more attention than anything else. I am still surprised.  


Weirdly. Since the release of the second one, the attention got Split almost exactly in half between both games. What the first one got Daily before, now is weirdly shared in the middle. 


This game interestingly resulted in me getting tons of followers.  (Thanks to everyone.) No other release thought that many followers.  


Sadly, unlike the first one, this time, I got absolutely no buyers.  


This one got put into far more collections than the first one.


Like the first one, this time, I got ratings.  (This almost never happens on the site that I get Ratings.) This time the Rating was slightly better.  


This time, I also got a Review. And this was honest criticism and no trolling.  I only got 2 Reviews on itch before and these 2 were written by a troll. On xbox creators collection I got more reviews in past, but for the most time, these were Trolls as well.


Now to the review I got: I agree with almost all of the criticism levelled against the project.  Especially the point that the AI frequently and weirdly changed the Background. I I tried to fix that in pre Produktion but this die not went successful.  Even when describing tue things the generator should not change.


Only the last point brought up in the review was a bit insulting.  That accusation is not true.  I do not Intend on "spilling out tons of crap games without spending effort on their development". Look at my Karporam game. I spent 4 years with developing that and when I rot a detailed review from beta testers,  I spent another full year to fix all issues brought fort.


And with this game here and its precedessor,  I explained my Motivation in great Detail already. The first one was a quick Experiment because the question appeared in my mind, if I could really pull off such a thing. Then, I loaded it up and it became one of my most successful games here. Despite it being done quickly in just a few hours,  it became almost as popular as Karporam which I spent General years on its development.


And despite the first one being totally free, I got 2 people paying for it. (Thanks to you both. I really, really appreciate it.) 


Thus, I asked myself the question if that success was just a one time fluke or if I could replicate it. Thus, I worked to create the second one.


That was my thought process.  I did not have any malicious intend.  The first one just got far more popular than I could ever dream of and this caused me to get curious
